Manama, Jan. 2 (BNA): Bahrain All Share closed at 1,956.84 points, marking a decrease of 14.65 points below the previous closing.
This decrease was due to the fall in the communication service sector, the financial sector and the materials sector.
Bahrain lslamic Index closed at 727.84 points, marking a decrease of 1.07 points below the previous closing.
Results indicated that 65 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,063,171 worth BD 655,318.
Investors traded mainly in the material sector, representing 60.00% of the total value of securities traded.
