Youth Minister receives UNDP Acting Resident Representative 

Manama, July 19 (BNA): Minister of Youth Affairs, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiq, received Firas Gharaibeh, Acting Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

The minister affirmed the ministry’s keenness to continuously develop cooperation with international organizations to implement initiatives for Bahraini youth, in line with the directives of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for humanitarian work and youth affairs. To strengthen partnerships with various sectors to develop the skills of Bahraini youth.

She reviewed the Ministry’s program for youth in Bahrain, and highlighted the results of joint programs with the United Nations and their positive results.

The meeting discussed launching more joint programs and initiatives.

The minister stressed the importance of partnership between the ministry and the United Nations Development Program and strengthening cooperation to achieve common goals in supporting youth.

Gharaibeh praised the development of the youth sector in the Kingdom, praising the high status enjoyed by Bahraini youth and their achievements in various fields.

He stressed the importance of cooperation between the two sides in implementing more joint youth programs that develop Bahraini youth and provide them with skills and experience in various fields.
