Manama, June 16 (BNA): Shura Council Speaker Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh praised Bahrain’s success in achieving first place for the sixth year in a row in the US Department of State’s report on human trafficking for the year 2023. The highest annual international classification in this field,



In today’s statement, he said that the global achievement came under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, praising Bahrain’s steps that reflect the strength of its constitutional, legislative and judicial adoption.



Al-Salah congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.



He praised the efforts made by the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to implement the law and support the campaign to combat human trafficking and protect public morals.



The Shura Council Speaker also praised the role of the Minister of Labor and Chairman of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority, Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan, in implementing measures to combat human trafficking.



He praised the role of the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking, in coordination with the Ministries of Interior, Justice, Foreign Affairs, Social Development, Information, and the Labor Market Regulatory Authority, and its cooperation with the judiciary and civil society. .
