Manama, Apr. 23 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,017.05 points, marking an increase of 0.65 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the Communication Services Sector, Industrial Sector and Material Sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 766.32 points, marking an increase of 3.39 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 140 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,669,995 worth BD 514,645.
Investors traded mainly in the Material Sector, representing 30.73% of the total value of securities traded.
