Manama, July 17 (BNA): Yusuf bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Chairman of the Jaafari Endowments Council, today inaugurated the Imam Ali Mosque in Dar Kulaib.


The meeting was attended by members of the committee, director of the Jaafari Endowments, Muhammad Jaafar al-Husseini, members of the building committee, dignitaries, and dozens of citizens.


Al-Saleh praised the great interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in sponsoring houses of worship, which embodies their continuous support for the endowments. Charitable and humanitarian work.


He also praised the initiatives of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, led by Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, and the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, under the directives of His Excellency Minister Nawaf bin Mohammed Al-Maawda, to facilitate matters. Building, reconstructing and maintaining mosques and places of worship throughout the Kingdom, because of their active role in promoting social progress and stability, as they spread the values ​​of cooperation, solidarity, unity and cohesion, as well as the effective contribution to promoting good citizenship.


He expressed his happiness at the reopening of the iconic mosque, whose reconstruction began in 2020, indicating that the project embodies the success of the community partnership.


Ambassador Ibrahim Al-Kadhim delivered a speech on behalf of the citizens, in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Chairman and members of the Joint Economic Committee for their efforts in facilitating the reconstruction and reopening of the mosque. He also paid tribute to everyone who contributed to the project.


Ahmed Abbas Sultan delivered a speech at the ceremony on behalf of the Mosque Building Committee. He praised the tremendous efforts made to rebuild the iconic mosque, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Chairman and members of the Jaafari Endowments Council for their support. He also expressed hope that the remaining service needs of the mosque would be provided.


It is worth noting that the Imam Ali Mosque, consisting of three floors, combines ancient Islamic architecture with the old Bahraini style. It includes integrated facilities that serve worshipers and visitors.
