Manama, June 13 (BNA): Chief of Public Security Lieutenant General Tariq Al-Hassan received Sheikha Hala bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, Secretary of the Board of Trustees of Al-Mabarrah Al-Khalifia Foundation.
The meeting was attended by Major General Dr. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security, and Brigadier General Fawaz Al Hassan, Commander of the Royal Academy of Police.
The Chief of Public Security praised the role of MKF in promoting volunteer and humanitarian work in Bahrain.
He pointed out that the Foundation’s university scholarship program “Rayat” contributes to capacity building among young people.
He praised the cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and the Foundation, especially in the youth camps of the Authority.
Sheikha Hala gave a brief explanation of the Foundation’s role in promoting voluntary and social work.
