Manama, Sept. 9 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,956.73 points marking an increase of 4.57 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the Communication Services Sector, Financial Sector and Consumer Staples Sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 747.82 points marking an increase of 1.06 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 60 equity transactions took place with a volume of 3,303,835 worth BD 593,669.
Investors traded mainly in the Financial Sector representing 90.15% of the total value of securities traded.
