Manama, July 5 (BNA): The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Sciences hosted the second football tournament between Al-Deir and Samaheej clubs.
The event aims to promote the principle of community partnership and belonging to the homeland pursued by the Ministry of Interior. It also came within the activities of celebrating the World Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking,
The Director General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Sciences indicated that the championship came in implementation of the instructions of the Minister of Interior to implement the concept of community partnership in the security system in the ministry.
He noted the support of the Chief of Public Security to raise awareness of drug control and protect society from its dangers by communicating with young people to make the most of their free time and enhance the spirit of teamwork.
The Director General thanked all parties that contributed to the success of the tournament, represented by the General Administration of Media and Security Culture, the Public Security Sports Union, Al-Deir Club and Samaheej Club.
