Cybersecurity online course launched


Manama, Nov. 7 (BNA): The Bahrain Institute of Public Administration and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) launched an online course for public and private sectors’ employees about the basics of cybersecurity.

Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, said that continuous education was an essential requirement for empowering human capital in the institutional corps.

She added that the institute was keen on offering programmes and services that keep pace with advancements in various disciplines, particularly updates in academic and training.

Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, CEO of the NCSC, said that the centre seeks to achieve safer government systems and services by increasing cybersecurity awareness among employees through providing various training courses and workshops in partnership with the institute.
