New York, July 21 (BNA): Minister of Sustainable Development, Noor bint Ali Al-Khalif, met with the Israeli Minister of Environmental Protection, Edit Silman, on the sidelines of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s delegation’s participation in the United Nations High-level Political Forum for Sustainable Development 2023, to present the Kingdom’s second voluntary national review on the progress made towards achieving the sustainable development goals and the 2030 Acceleration Agenda.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Jamal Al-Ruwaie, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations, and a number of officials..
The two sides discussed the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel, particularly with regard to accelerating the achievement of sustainable development goals..
