Longstanding Bahrain-Saudi historic ties praised

Manama, July 25 (BNA): Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa praised the deep-rooted historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He praised the joint relations that are based on close cooperation and joint work to continue development at all levels, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

He noted the commitment and keenness of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to strengthening joint relations.

This came during his reception, in the presence of Minister of Cabinet Affairs Hamad bin Faisal Al-Maliki, and Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshed, CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, who is currently visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The minister and the head of the Social Fund for Development discussed means of cooperation between the two countries in the financial and economic sectors, and praised Saudi support for development projects that contributed to advancing growth, which reflects the long-term relations and joint Gulf action.

The Minister of Finance stressed the importance of further strengthening cooperation in order to achieve common goals and aspirations, praising the role of the Saudi Fund for Development in following up and implementing the Saudi grant within the Gulf Development Program and other projects.
