Labour Minister affirms government’s interest in providing sustainable job opportunities for citizens

Manama, July 22 (BNA): Labor Minister Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan affirmed the government’s keenness to provide sustainable job opportunities for citizens in banking and financial institutions by qualifying them and providing them with professional skills.

He stressed that the Kingdom is proud of qualified national competencies in the field of financial and banking services, which contributes to strengthening Bahrain’s position as a leading financial and banking center in the region.

The minister’s remarks came during a field visit to CrediMax, which specializes in issuing credit cards in the Kingdom, as part of his visits to companies and institutions that support the initiatives and programs of the Ministry of Labor in recruiting national cadres.

During the visit, Minister Humaidan met with the CEO of CrediMax, Ahmed Abdul Rahman Siyadi, and a number of company officials.

The minister was briefed on the company’s strategy in supporting its cadres with national cadres, as the company’s Bahrainization rate reached 99.1%, at the top of the list of distinguished establishments in the field.

He also inspected the various departments and departments, where he met with a number of employees and listened to their opinions and professional experiences.

Humaidan praised the company’s experience in hiring national competencies, and its keenness to create an attractive work environment and promising opportunities for career advancement, stressing that qualified Bahraini cadres contributed to the advancement of the banking and financial sector.

He affirmed the Ministry of Labor’s support for plans to train and qualify citizens in the financial and banking sector, which constitutes an important tributary to the national economy.

The CEO of CreditMax indicated that the government’s support for banking and financial institutions has contributed to the growth of this sector, which provides more qualitative and attractive jobs for Bahraini youth with good wages and promising opportunities for professional advancement.

He praised the programs and initiatives of the Ministry of Labor in the field of employment and rehabilitation of citizens, in addition to providing many incentives such as subsidizing wages and providing specialized training for newcomers to the labor market.
