Manama, Jan. 15 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,985.51 points, marking an increase of 2.33 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the communication services sector, the financial sector and the real estate sector.
Bahrain lslamic Index closed at 740.84 points, marking an increase of 0.96 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 60 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,066,358 worth BD 801,777.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 55.92% of the total value of securities traded.
