Manama, Jan. 9 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,987.49 points, marking an increase of 3.79 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the Consumer Discretionary Sector and Financial Sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 741.14 points, marking a decrease of 0.84 points below the previous closing.
Results indicated that 64 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,141,629 worth BD 825,981.
Investors traded mainly in the Materials Sector, representing 78.04% of the total value of securities traded.
