Oil climbs a second day after US crude inventories draw down

Tokyo, Jan. 10 (BNA): Oil rose for a second day on Wednesday after an industry report showed a bigger-than-expected drawdown of crude inventories in the United States.


Brent crude futures rose 26 cents, or 0.3%, to $77.85 a barrel at 0724 GMT.


U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures climbed 27 cents, or 0.4%, to $72.51 a barrel.
