Deputy Prime Minister opens ‘Suhail’ housing Project

Manama, June 15 (BNA): Under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development to expand the implementation of the government’s land development program, Sheikh Khalid. Deputy Prime Minister bin Abdullah Al Khalifa inaugurated the “Suhail” housing project, in the presence of the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi.

The project, which includes 132 housing units, is part of the government land development program, which is being implemented in partnership with the private sector.

The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the partnership with the private sector in providing housing units through the government land development program has proven its worth, as it provides creative solutions and excellent housing services to citizens at reasonable prices, indicating that the scheme is in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 and the sustainable development goals, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The Deputy Prime Minister indicated that partnership with the private sector in all fields, especially in the field of housing services, comes at the top of the government’s priorities for its 2023-2026 program to consolidate the sustainability of housing services and ensure their delivery to the state. Citizens at the specified time, stressing the continuation of efforts to develop solutions that meet the demand and contribute at the same time to meet the aspirations of citizens for adequate housing.

He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Housing and Urbanization, the employees of the Ministry of Housing and the project developer for their efforts in preparing for the opening of the project, pointing out that the “Es’hail” project is a role model for future projects, under the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and under the umbrella of the government’s land development program, in partnership with the sector. private.

Minister Amna Al-Rumaihi expressed her thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for launching the project, noting that it represents a real and successful experience for the government land development program.

She emphasized that the ministry has doubled its efforts to implement the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister regarding the government land development program, pointing to plans to implement eight additional projects in partnership with the private sector during the period 2023-2024 to provide thousands of homes. Units of real estate and development companies on government-owned land in different urban areas.

The minister also expressed her thanks to the Deputy Prime Minister for inaugurating the project, praising the Deputy Prime Minister’s keenness to support the implementation of the government land development program in coordination with relevant ministries and government agencies and through the Ministerial Committee for Development and Infrastructure. projects in order to ensure their success.

The minister said, “Today we feel proud and happy to complete the project and make it available to citizens as a housing option that offers units with high-quality technical specifications in terms of construction, finishing and thermal insulation system, in addition to those derived from the latest approved building models.”

She explained that “Suhail” is one of the housing projects that offer units commensurate with the value of the financing provided by the Ministry, which will be offered starting today, through the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning’s platform in housing financing. The exhibition, which is held in Bahrain City Center.

It is noteworthy that the “Es’hail” project, consisting of 132 units, is located in the suburb of Al-Lawzi. Each unit consists of four bedrooms, a majlis, a sitting and dining hall, a kitchen, toilets, and a garden, in addition to an indoor garage that can accommodate two cars, and an additional outdoor parking space. The project has three main entrances. It is also close to necessary community amenities such as schools and shops. The project units are also characterized by the presence of internal spaces that enable them to expand in the future.
