Manama, July 8 (BNA): Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiq received Stephen Bondy, the US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The minister highlighted the steadily developing Bahraini-US relations.
She affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to develop and support partnership with the United States to achieve common goals.
The meeting reviewed cooperation in the youth sector and ways to benefit from the experiences of both sides to enhance skills and train young people to enable them to benefit from the promising opportunities offered by the Kingdom.
They also discussed the Kingdom’s participation in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), due to its positive results on Bahraini youth.
The ambassador expressed his keenness to enhance cooperation between the two countries, and stressed the importance of joint efforts in the youth sector in exchanging experiences and training opportunities between the two sides.
