Manama, March 9 (BNA) Sports and Youth Minister Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayad said that Bahrain organized a distinguished and successful West Asian Paralympic Games thanks to the tremendous support provided by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He added that the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, was instrumental in the success of the third Paralympic Games hosted by Bahrain last month.
He said, “We commend the great support provided by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for humanitarian work and youth affairs, for the Paralympic Games, which greatly stimulated all participants.”
Al-Moayad expressed his gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, for his directives to all parties to ensure the success of the tournament. the games
Al-Moayad indicated that the Kingdom’s hosting of the West Asian Paralympic Games – Bahrain 2022 was the latest addition to the long list of international tournaments and competitions held in Bahrain in the past years, which impressed everyone with its good organization and management.
The Minister praised the organizing committee and the keenness of the Bahrain Paralympic Committee Chairman Sheikh Mohammed bin Daij Al Khalifa to ensure that all requirements and needs are met.
Al-Moayad praised the outstanding achievements of the Bahraini athletes, who won 39 medals in the Games.
