Bahrain and Thailand hold preparatory meeting

Bangkok, March 7 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Thailand praised the steadily growing political, economic, investment, health and social cooperation.

This came during the third semi-annual meeting held in preparation for the fourth session of the Bahraini-Thai Higher Cooperation Committee.

The meeting was co-chaired by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and the Secretary General of the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pusadi Santipetaks.

During the meeting, the two sides affirmed their keenness to further enhance joint cooperation between the two friendly countries.

Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa renewed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to enhance joint cooperation with Thailand by activating more than thirty agreements and memorandums of understanding.

Santipetak highlighted the upcoming meeting, which will be held in Thailand and chaired by the foreign ministers of the two countries.
