Bahrain participates in meeting of Council of Arab Information Ministers’ Executive Bureau

Rabat, June 20 (BNA): Information Minister Dr. Ramadan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi participated in the 17th regular session of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, held here today.

Members of the Executive Bureau, including the information ministers from Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Algeria, Comoros, Kuwait, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen and Morocco, participated in the meeting.

The Kingdom participated in the meeting because it will host the 2024 Arab Summit.

The Minister of Information stressed the importance of the topics discussed during the seventeenth session of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, within the framework of his follow-up to the agenda and issues that will be dealt with by the 53rd session of the Council. Arab information ministers are scheduled to convene here today, Wednesday, in a way that contributes to advancing joint Arab media cooperation and enhancing its role in supporting various Arab issues.

Dr. Al Nuaimi stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain attaches great importance to expanding the scope of joint Arab cooperation at all levels, especially in the media field, given the great role of the media in strengthening the pillars of Arab national security and consolidating and strengthening the Arab identity. Coordination and cooperation in facing the various challenges facing the region.

He said that this is in line with the Kingdom’s strong belief that strengthening joint Arab action is the best way to improve Arab achievements.

The Minister of Information said that the Kingdom of Bahrain, through its membership in the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, aims to contribute constructively to advancing efforts to develop joint Arab media work.
