RHF wins Hamdan-ICESCO Prize for Voluntary Development of Education Facilities

Rabat, June 17 (BNA): The Personal Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and the Board of Trustees, Chairman of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, affirmed that charitable work in the Kingdom stems from the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Honorary President of the Welfare Foundation. health.


His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Rashid Al Maktoum highlighted the interest of His Majesty the King in charitable and humanitarian work in Bahrain and abroad, citing the continuous royal directives to quickly provide assistance to those in need in various countries.


His Highness praised the keenness of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and permanent Prime Minister, to support humanitarian and charitable work.


This came after the success of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation in winning the Hamdan-ISESCO Prize for the voluntary development of educational facilities in the Islamic world.


His Highness Sheikh Nasser affirmed that this exploitation reflects the interest of His Majesty King Hamad to include the educational aspect in charitable and humanitarian work inside and outside the Kingdom.


It also reflects the volume of relief and humanitarian efforts that the Kingdom provides to various peoples suffering from the pain of conflicts, wars and natural disasters.


His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed that the Kingdom was keen, while helping the afflicted, to establish educational projects to raise the quality of education, as well as raise the level of enlightenment and education in the societies of the Islamic world, to contribute to ensuring the achievement of sustainable development. His Highness Sheikh Nasser praised the executive management and staff of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation for the roles they play in delivering humanitarian aid in Bahrain and abroad, praising the generous contributions made by the Bahraini people to the humanitarian activities of the healthcare institution.


The award was presented to the Rheinhouse Research Foundation during the award ceremony held in Rabat, Morocco.


His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan Al Maktoum, Supreme Chairman of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance, and Dr. Salem Mohammed Al Malik, Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), presented the speech. Hamdan Award – ISESCO for the voluntary development of educational facilities in the Islamic world to the Secretary-General of the Health Care Foundation, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed.
