Shanghai, July 15 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain has officially obtained partner status in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization dialogue.
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the People’s Republic of China, Dr. Muhammad Ghassan Muhammad Adnan Sheikho, signed a memorandum of understanding in this regard with the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Zhang Ming, in the presence of representatives of the permanent member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Dr. Sheikho said that the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has transformed the Kingdom of Bahrain into a global hub.
He highlighted Bahrain’s sound policies aimed at supporting cooperation, strengthening friendly relations between countries and achieving comprehensive sustainable development in light of global mutual respect, tolerance and non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries, in order to maintain international peace and security.
He highlighted Bahrain’s positive role and its constructive participation in international and regional organizations, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as a “dialogue partner”, congratulating the wise leadership on the Kingdom’s successive successes.
