Manama, June 24 (BNA): Speaker of Parliament Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam congratulated Speaker of the Qatari Shura Council, Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, on the anniversary of the accession of His Highness, Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Hamad Al Thani to the throne.
Al-Musallam affirmed the depth of the fraternal relations linking the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar, affirming the joint parliamentary commitment to expanding joint cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations in light of their strategic partnership to serve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
The Speaker of Parliament wished the State of Qatar continued security, stability and prosperity under its leadership.
