Tennis-Alcaraz sets up Queen’s final against De Minaur

London, June 24 (BNA): Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz continued his flourishing on the grass courts in London during preparations for Wimbledon, as he defeated unseeded American Sebastian Korda on Saturday to reach the Queen’s Club final.

The 20-year-old dropped his first set in Queen’s earlier in the week but has looked fine since then and proved too strong for Korda, winning 6-3 6-4, according to Reuters.

In his first ATP final on grass, Alcaraz will face Australian Alex de Minaur who earlier beat second seed Dane Holger Rohn 6-3, 7-6 (2).

Should Alcaraz win Sunday’s final, he will reclaim the world No. 1 ranking from Novak Djokovic and claim the No. 1 spot at Wimbledon, which begins on July 3.
