Winners of Arab Reading Challenge qualifications honoured

Manama, June 22 (BNA): The winners of the Seventh Arab Reading Challenge qualifications (Bahrain branch) were honored.

The Minister of Education, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, sponsored the ceremony, which was also attended by the Executive Director, Dr. Abdul Karim Sultan Al-Ulama, the Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, the Deputy Ambassador of the State to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mansour Al-Juwaid, and others. Officials attended.

In a speech delivered at the ceremony, the minister praised the fruitful cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

He pointed out that more than 134,000 male and female students from 252 public and private teachers participated in the reading competitions, of whom 9,300 succeeded in the initial qualification stage.

He congratulated the winners, thanking everyone who contributed to organizing the qualifications, wishing the students continued success in honor of their country.

The Deputy Ambassador of the State to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mansoor Al-Juwaid, praised the effective participation of the Kingdom of Bahrain in this event, which reflects the successful and fruitful cooperation between the two countries.
