Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing Director-General receives ABA official

Manama, June 22 (BNA): The Director General of Execution of Sentences and Alternative Sentences, Sheikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa, received Maeen Khan from the American Bar Association at the Open Prisons Complex.

The meeting reviewed the exchange of experiences and training to enhance the expansion of the alternative punishment program and the opening of prisons. The two sides reviewed the rehabilitation and training programs offered to beneficiaries of open prisons as part of alternative punishments to enhance their skills and reintegrate them into society.

They also reviewed various workshops and lectures, including the “Security” safety program, which was organized through dialogue sessions and lectures.
