Manama, July 6 (BNA): The Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence held its first meeting, chaired by Sheikh Khalifa bin Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the royal trust and affirmed his keenness to continue harnessing efforts to achieve the visions of His Majesty the King in promoting the values of peaceful coexistence.
He praised the center’s achievements through its programs and activities in the past years, which reflected Bahraini society’s openness to different cultures in line with the strategic vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s declaration and the royal decree establishing the center.
The meeting discussed topics on the agenda, recent achievements, and future programs and plans.
