Manama, Nov. 29 (BNA): The Ministry of Health announced today that a new Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 booster vaccine will be available in primary health care centers across Bahrain, starting from November 29.
The Ministry encourages those interested in receiving the booster injection to go directly to their primary health care center without the need to register.
The newly developed bivalent vaccine will be given as a booster shot, targeting the original virus strain and the omicron variant to provide broad protection against COVID-19 and its mutations.
The Ministry of Health indicated that a list of primary healthcare centers providing the new Pfizer-BioNTech bivalent booster injection can be found on the Ministry of Health website https://healthalert.gov.bh.
