Newly-appointed High Civil and Sharia Court judges sworn in

Manama, June 14 (BNA) The Supreme Judicial Council held the swearing-in ceremony for a group of new judges in accordance with Article (26) of the Judicial Authority Law.

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa had issued Order (16) of 2022 appointing them as judges at the Civil and Supreme Sharia Court.

Vice President of the Court of Cassation Abdullah bin Hassan Al Buainain, Vice President of the Supreme Judicial Council affirmed His Majesty’s keenness on the rule of law and the consolidation of justice as the most important pillars of security and social and economic stability in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He affirmed the council’s strategy, which aims to build an effective judicial system, efficient procedures, quality judicial rulings, and continuous development and qualification of Bahraini competencies.

Al Buainain welcomed the new judges, wishing them success in their work, and urged them to make every effort to contribute to the consolidation of the principles of justice and law enforcement.

The judges expressed their gratitude to His Majesty the King for his royal confidence, stressing their commitment to carrying out their work and applying the law and the constitution in a spirit of justice.
