Manama, July 3 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1,865.79 points, recording an increase of 26.16 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the increase in the financial sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 668.53 points, recording an increase of 0.77 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 50 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 936,973 with a value of 311,207 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 77.31% of the total value of traded securities.
