New mosque opened in Nuwaidrat

Manama, March 27 (BNA) Within the framework of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s unwavering support to continue building mosques in all regions of the Kingdom, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. His Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in this regard, the Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, Dr. Sheikh Rashid bin Muhammad bin Fetais Al-Hajri, inaugurated today the Sharifa bint Ahmed Al-Mannai Mosque in Nuwaidrat.


Some Quranic verses were recited, then Dr. Sheikh Al-Hajri delivered a statement expressing the plans of the Sunni Endowments Directorate to build more places of worship in the Kingdom and open the way for donors to participate in its construction, stressing that mosques are places that enhance brotherhood and cohesion among Muslims.


He also highlighted the virtue of spending on mosques and rebuilding them, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Al-Mannai family for building the mosque.


Then Fawaz bin Muhammad Al-Manni delivered a speech in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council for his distinguished efforts and his prominent role in building mosques and increasing endowments.


The Sharifa bint Ahmed Al-Mannai Mosque is designed in the traditional Bahraini style mixed with modernity in the use of building technology, and contains a men’s prayer room that can accommodate 350 people and a prayer room for women that can accommodate 40 people, in addition to basic rooms. services.
