New housing financing schemes outlined

Manama, August 1 (BNA): The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, reviewed the new housing plans approved by the Council of Ministers headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Minister.

She highlighted the new financial plans during a press conference held today in the presence of the Director General of the Housing Bank, Dr. Khaled Abdullah.

The Council of Ministers announced the new initiative, which includes affordable housing solutions, which includes three financing options – a real estate facility, a Bait Al Oud facility, and a cooperation facilitation. In addition to launching a new category of “social housing benefits” in addition to the previous version of “Mazaya”.

In her speech at the press conference, she stressed the keenness to continue efforts to adopt innovative housing solutions aimed at accelerating the pace of achievements by strengthening partnership with the private sector to play a major role in providing housing services to citizens.

It commended the objectives of the broad development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa with the support of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The launch of the new housing finance program comes in implementation of the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister to increase the number of beneficiaries of the “Mazaya” program by an additional 500 people this year, and to provide more financing options for housing services.
