Berlin, November 17 (BUS): Full-back Josep Stanisic is the latest Bayern Munich player to be forced into isolation after testing positive for the coronavirus.

The Bayern defender has been fully vaccinated and is in good shape. “He will now be isolated at home,” the Bundesliga champions and leaders said on Twitter on Wednesday.
Stanisic, 21, has been on the national team assignment with Croatia over the past week.
News reports said that two club employees also tested positive, but the club did not comment on this, according to the German news agency (dpa).
The news comes a week after Bayern Munich defender Niklas Soele tested positive for Sars-CoV-2 in the German national team despite being fully vaccinated.
Munich teammates Joshua Kimmich, Jamal Musiala, Serge Gnabry and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting had to isolate contacts as well as close contacts.
Munich returns from the international break with a flight to the Bundesliga for its Bavarian neighbors Augsburg on Friday.
Football vaccinations are a controversial topic in Germany after Kimmich revealed he had not been stabbed.
