National Medical Team for Combatting the Coronavirus receives Voluntary Work Award

Manama, September 22 (BNA): The Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health and Head of the National Medical Team to Combat Coronavirus (Covid-19) received Lieutenant-General Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Cabinet Affairs. The Honorary President of the Good Word Society, His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, who presented him with the Voluntary Work Award to honor the Bahrain team for the second year in a row.

His Highness Sheikh Isa expressed his sincere appreciation for the distinguished and noble contributions made by the members of the national medical team to combat the Corona Virus (Covid-19), led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Which was a role model in dealing with the epidemic regionally and internationally.

The Chairman of the Council stressed that the achievement was achieved under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the follow-up of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister, and the cooperation of various government and private agencies.

His Highness Sheikh Issa wished the team further achievements and continued success in confronting the epidemic, and praised the directives of His Majesty the King and the efforts of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister.
