Manama, Feb. 15 (BNA): His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, directed His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to raise the value of the cash prizes allocated to the winners of the horse race, including his and his children’s cups, to 68,000 Bahraini dinars.
The race for the cup of His Highness and the cups of his sons, Her Highness Sheikha Shaima bint Nasser Al Khalifa, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser Al Khalifa, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Nasser Al Khalifa, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Nasser Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Nasser Al Khalifa will be held on Friday (February 17) at the track Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club in Sakhir.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed the importance of providing continuous support to equestrian sports and horse racing in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to support these authentic sports and preserve their place in the history of the Kingdom.
His Highness also directed that a raffle be drawn up for three cars, which will be distributed to the public who will attend the race, in appreciation of their prominent role in supporting sports in Bahrain and adding enthusiasm and excitement to the event.
The three car prizes were revealed at the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club. The draw will take place on the day of the race through online registration on the club’s Instagram account rehc.bh. The invitation is open to the public to register their names and attend the race as a condition of winning the prizes.
