Scope and objectives

The nail technician offers professional care, advice and uncompromising quality of service to guests.

Work responsibilities

Adhere to spa policy and standard operating procedure manual.
Acting as a Spa Ambassador representing the brand that maintains a professional appearance at all times.
Familiar with all aspects of the services provided in the facility.
– Perform manicures, pedicures and related treatments for guests.
Proactively educate guests about nail care, this includes quietly providing personalized recommendations and ‘top sale’ products to guests when required.
Assist in coordinating salon services with other spa programs.
Maintaining an ample stock of products necessary to perform treatments, all in an organized and elegant manner.
– Report on appointments on time and accurate review of appointments after completion of each service.
Always maintain a polite, friendly and professional demeanor with the guests.
– Assisting in reception operations and thermal areas whenever possible.
Maintain current professional license.

Administrative and Financial Responsibilities

Keep proper tracking of guest forms and make sure each guest signs one before the treatment.
Responsible for treatment goals and monthly segmentation.

Guest quality and operational excellence

Recognize the arrival of all VIP guests arriving at the spa facility and hotel.
Ensure that the facility is in top condition and clean at all times.
Ensure that guest/members preferences and requests are met to the best of the property’s capabilities.
– Ensure that the salon gets positive reviews in the guest satisfaction survey.
Maintain guest confidentiality at all times.
Handle any complaints, comments or concerns of guests with caution and urgency.

Talent and culture / team communication

Participate in daily/monthly communications and meetings.
Support the rest of your colleagues on demand.
Understand and abide by the Accor Code of Ethics.
Attending product knowledge or education lessons related to the position.
Maintaining a positive relationship internally and with the hotel’s external departments.

Health, hygiene and safety

Follow all property safety procedures and practices. Lead by example.
Ensure guest satisfaction at all times by ensuring that safety and service are always the first priority.
– Reporting to management about broken equipment.
Report any potential risks or emergencies so that they can be corrected immediately.
Files, clips, leather cutters, and other paraphernalia must be presented to each guest in a sterile hygienic bag and opened only in their presence.
Dealing with emergency situations with urgency and caution.
Maintain peak A/C of the facility at all times through cleanliness and hygiene.

Education and experience

Nail technician certification.
Minimum of 5 years experience as a nail technician.
– Previous experience in a 5-star hotel or day spa is recommended.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation – the primary lifesaver.
