Manama, October 29 (BNA) Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Issam bin Abdullah Khalaf issued decisions to reduce October fees for 192 Bahraini renting families.
He explained that this step is in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to ensure decent living conditions for all citizens and exempt low-income families from paying fees or waiving their arrears.
The decrees are based on the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to reduce the cost of living for citizens, as well as the decision of the Council of Ministers to deal with citizens who live in rents and real estate. Homeowners are on an equal footing with regard to municipal fees.
