Military Hospital conducts mock evacuation exercise

Manama, November 11 (BNA) Today, the Military Hospital conducted a mock evacuation exercise in case a fire broke out, injuring four people.

The exercise reflected the hospital’s keenness on the safety of its employees, and aimed to ensure safety procedures in the Royal Medical Services.

The scenario of the exercise was the evacuation of all workers in a hospital department after a fire broke out in it, injuring four.

More than 14 employees attended the training to ensure quick response and correct evacuation process for all relevant parties. The dummy exercise demonstrated successful coordination among all relevant departments.

It is worth noting that the Military Hospital is the only hospital in the Kingdom of Bahrain that has obtained Canadian accreditation as the first accredited center for the treatment of injuries.
