Multiple projects showcased at Cityscape Bahrain 2022

Manama, Nov. 23 (BNA): Prominent real estate projects worth millions of Bahraini dinars were exhibited at the first Cityscape Bahrain 2022 exhibition at the Bahrain World exhibition in Sakhir.

The three-day event kicked off under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

“We are very honored that His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, inaugurates the first Cityscape Bahrain 2022,” Chairman of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority and Head of the Cadastral Land Registration Office Sheikh Salman bin Abdullah. Al Khalifa said.

“We are pleased with the number of exhibitors participating in this event, as the exhibitors participate in the event with 40 projects, including 17 new projects, and the value of these projects is 893 million Bahraini dinars, while the value of the 17 new projects is 193 million Bahraini dinars. Therefore, we have some major projects Which is highlighted in this show and we are happy to have this huge event in Bahrain.”

Sheikh Salman added, “We have a lot of people registering for this exhibition and by noon today we want to see the turnout. We want to ensure that the exhibitors and participants in this exhibition can sell the projects they have displayed.”

Ferial Abdullah Nass, Founder and President of the Bahrain Entrepreneurship Organization (BEO), said the organization is participating in Cityscape 2022 and is honored to be part of this amazing exhibition for the first time in Bahrain.

“In our booth there are seven university students from Bahrain Polytechnic and graduates of the University of Bahrain, who specialize in architecture and engineering. These students present their projects related to the real estate and development sector.”

Most of their work consists of proposals for various projects that could be for example, sponsoring developers and investors to implement those projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Ferial added that most of the projects are sustainable and environmentally friendly. Among these projects are also creative and innovative projects.

“We also have five members of the Bahrain Entrepreneurship Organization who have businesses related to the real estate sector and industry. Like some design offices and architects; like a group of 23 architects, we also have a solar plant,” she said.

“We expect to connect these entrepreneurs and startups who are working in this field, complementing the real estate and development sector to work with these large developers to give them an opportunity to work with them.
