Muharraq Identity Card Service Center Starting to re-open on Sunday

Manama, September 23 (BNA) The ID Card Service Center of the Information and eGovernment Authority located in Muharraq, Seef Mall, will reopen on Sunday, and working hours will be from Sunday to Thursday from 7:30 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon.

All ID card services offered by the Muharraq branch are also available through the national portal bahrain.bh to beneficiaries who wish to conduct their transactions online without in-person visits.

Citizens and residents who prefer to visit the service center are requested to book an appointment through the portal bahrain.bh prior to arrival to avoid waiting and to ensure timely completion of their transactions once they arrive at the centre.

The Information and eGovernment Authority said that all beneficiaries are advised to adhere to social distancing instructions to support public health measures.

Beneficiaries are invited to submit suggestions and comments for the development of the center and its services by scanning the QR codes displayed throughout the center through the Tawasul application.

The ID Card Service Center in Muharraq provides local residents and expatriates (not registered with the Labor Market Regulatory Authority) a range of services, including ID card issuance and renewal, replacement of lost or damaged ID cards, chip updates, and fast tracking services. Customers can also update their ID card chip details via the kiosk located in the mall.

The reopening of the center brings with it an improved quality of services to meet the needs of beneficiaries and simplify procedures, while carrying out transactions faster.
