Manama, September 23 (BNA) The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments announced the procedures for issuing Umrah and prayer permits in the Great Mosque of Mecca and visiting the Prophet’s Mosque in accordance with the directives of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj. and Umrah.
The ministry called on licensed Umrah operators and all citizens and residents to ensure registration in a Muqeem app and use the Tawakkalna and Itmarna applications to show their health status (immunized) before receiving Umrah permits through the Tawakkalna application.
The instructions coincide with the announcement of the start of the safe Umrah season for the year 1443 AH for citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
