Manama, March 8 (BNA) Muharraq Governorate honored its female employees on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
The Deputy Governor, Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Jer, praised the vision and directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which greatly contributed to empowering women and enhancing society’s confidence in their role.
Al-Jer stressed the important role of the Supreme Council for Women, led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the sanctity of His Majesty the King, in supporting the achievements of women in all fields.
He added that Bahraini women have made outstanding achievements in serving the community and the nation.
