Muharraq Governorate celebrates National Days

Manama, December 12 (BNA) The Muharraq Governorate hosted a celebration of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebration of its national holidays at Arad Castle Beach Park, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Islamic state founded by Ahmed. Al-Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of the accession of His Majesty the King to the throne.

Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al Mannai expressed his congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and to all loyal sons of Bahrain.

The Governor and the people expressed their appreciation to the Minister of Interior and the Ministry’s employees on Bahrain Police Day for the efforts made to protect the homeland and citizens and maintain security.

The Governor also expressed his gratitude to the officers and staff of the National Guard and the Bahrain Defense Force.

He pointed out that Bahrain will never forget the fallen heroes of the Ministry of Interior, the National Guard and the Bahrain Defense Force, for their deep patriotism and loyalty to the homeland and leadership.

The celebration program included various activities, including a show of the Ministry of the Interior’s horses, a folk band, and national and heritage competitions for children.
