Mosque closed for one week in Capital Governorate

Manama, Jan. 15 (BNA) The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments closed a mosque in the Capital Governorate for a week after discovering a case of coronavirus (Covid-19) among worshipers.

This measure came within the framework of the continuous follow-up of the National Medical Team to combat the Corona Virus (Covid-19) to combat the disease.

The ministry said that the concerned teams will use the time to carry out the process of tracing contacts, sterilizing buildings, and ensuring that all precautionary measures are taken.

The ministry warned that it will follow up the implementation of the mandatory procedures in mosques and intensify inspections to protect the health and safety of worshipers.
