Ministry of Legal Affairs holds workshop

Manama, March 6 (BNA): The Ministry of Legal Affairs held a workshop on developing a mechanism for submitting, preparing and studying government draft laws.

The Council of Ministers approved the memorandum of the Coordinating Committee regarding a proposal to develop a mechanism for submitting, preparing and studying government draft laws.

The Ministry of Legal Affairs was tasked with organizing workshops to inform government agencies of the developed mechanism.

The Minister of Legal Affairs, Youssef bin Abdul Hussein Khalaf, held the workshop, which was attended by a number of ministers, to shed light on the new procedures.

The developed mechanism aims to unify the preparation of legislation supporting the growth and development process in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in line with the government’s program and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.

Other workshops are scheduled to be held targeting the relevant employees and legal affairs teams in all government agencies to inform them of the mechanism.
