Manama, July 13 (BNA) Minister of Social Development Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour conducted a field visit today to Dar Al-Aman and Dar Al-Karama.
The Minister inspected work procedures and assessed needs and services that contribute to supporting protection and social care for individuals, families and residents in Bahrain.
He listened to a briefing about Dar Al-Aman, which provides shelter, health and legal support for women who are subjected to domestic violence, their minor children, and expatriates under the supervision of the Bahrain Social Society.
He was also briefed on Dar Al Karama, which is run by the Al-Hikma Association for Retirees, to provide protection and care for the target groups, during their stay at home, by addressing the problems faced by these individuals and families, as well as achieving social and psychological stability.
