Manama, June 19 (BNA) The newly appointed Minister of Transport and Communications, Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, met today with his predecessor, Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, during the handover ceremony.
Minister Al-Kaabi praised the dedicated efforts of his predecessor during his tenure, praising the qualitative projects implemented to develop the transport and communications sector for the benefit of the country and citizens, and achieve the strategic objectives of this vital sector.
He affirmed his keenness to build on the previous achievements of the sector, and pledged to continue collective work in order to better serve the comprehensive development process of the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad. Kamal bin Ahmed expressed his sincere congratulations to Muhammad bin Thamer for the precious royal trust.
He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to all employees of the Ministry of Transport and Communications for the tremendous efforts they made throughout his tenure, wishing Minister Al Kaabi success in carrying out the tasks entrusted to him.
