Miguel Rodrigues shows his Portuguese baroque-inspired sculptures at BACA exhibition

Manama, Jan. 31 (BNA): The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) will open tomorrow, Wednesday, at 7:00 pm, an exhibition of Portuguese artist and sculptor Miguel Rodriguez, at the Art Center.

The exhibition, which is being held under the patronage of the President of the National Council for the Arts, Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and in cooperation with the Bahrain Gallery, revolves around the Portuguese Baroque era and its history as a subject of reflection.

With a modern approach to the period, Miguel created pieces of art characterized by the Baroque style with modern touches, with the use of gold in most of his works to reinforce the idea of ​​strength and luxury.

The exhibition will run at the Arts Center until February 18 and will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
