MBMA hosts Algerian ambassador

Manama, April 7 / BNA / The Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies today launched the second edition of the (Academic Councils) series.

The program was held virtually in the presence of the Algerian Ambassador, Fouad Sadiq Al-Baharna, and a number of senior officials and employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In its first session of the Council of Ambassadors, the Algerian program to Bahrain hosted Abdel Hamid Ahmed Khoja.

The session was moderated by Ahmed Al-Tarifi, Head of the Arab Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Ambassador thanked the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director General of MBMA Dr. Sheikha Munira bint Khalifa Al Khalifa for providing the opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas.

He highlighted his country’s diplomacy, history, and the role of Arab and Asian countries in Algeria’s independence from French colonialism.

Ambassador Fouad Sadiq Al Baharna praised the bilateral relations, stressing the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to strengthen joint relations, noting that coordination between the two sides had taken place, and the parliamentary group for Algerian-Bahraini friendship was established.

The Baharna ambassador said, “The establishment of this group will be a new impetus for the course of relations between the two countries.”
