Paris, September 20 (BNA): The dispute between Kylian Mbappe and the French Football Federation over the use of image rights surfaced on Monday as the team prepared for the Nations League matches.
The months-long feud and the ongoing blackmail scandal involving Paul Pogba threaten to derail France’s World Cup preparations in Qatar, the Associated Press reports.
French media reported, quoting Mbappe’s statement to the French national news agency, that the Paris Saint-Germain star will refuse to participate in a photo session on Tuesday with his colleagues because the federation has not amended the collective agreement that governs the rights of the French team before the world.
